About Us
We are called Solveig and Pål Anders, and we live in Bygstad with our three children (Henrik, Sofia, and Johannes), four goats, our Goldendoodle Stella, and our Ragdoll cat Selma. When we're not out hiking or firing up the campfire pan, we'll make sure you have a warm, simple, and pleasant stay—without any unnecessary fuss.
Why we build small places to sleep
It all started with a love for nature and the urge to give people a break from screens and the fast pace of life. The Birdbox and the other units are designed to bring you closer to nature: a large bed, warmth, a view, simple cooking, and good times outdoors. Less square footage, bigger experiences.
