Experience the fjord the real Viking way!

Bygstad ship It is a handmade Viking ship that belongs here in Vikingfjorden – Dalsfjorden – a tribute to the history, craftsmanship, and coastal life as it was a thousand years ago. Now you can be part of the adventure yourself and try rowing a real Viking ship.

The ship is 33 feet long (10 meters) and up to 10 people can row at the same time. You can also get dressed in a full Viking costume and thus go back 1000 years in time.

The ship can also be transported on a specially built boat trailer, which allows us to transport the ship to any fjord or location. Today, this is one of the few «real» Viking ships that are operational in Norway and can be rented.

This is a unique and rare experience that is perfect for tourist groups, team building, films, marketing, etc.
